The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Product Quality Lead to join our team, responsible for shaping the Veo Quality Team's strategy and ensuring our products meet customer expectations. As a key contributor, you'll diagnose issues, develop solutions, and lead improvement actions to drive quality excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, involving resources from R&D, Customer Support, Production, and Procurement.
  • Develop and pioneer our strategy for hardware tests, Design for Testing, and Design for Manufacturing/Lifetime Quality, ensuring seamless product releases.
  • Collect and analyze quality metrics, working closely with BI and Quant teams to understand and address issues affecting our customers.
  • Design and develop electro-mechanical test systems for R&D and production, leveraging internal resources and software tooling developers.
  • Establish and maintain quality standards for new hardware, including corrosion, thermal, ESD, drop, and electrical stability testing.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience in math and statistics.
  • Excellent project management skills, with a focus on process understanding and execution.
  • Self-discipline and commitment to follow-through on complex issues.
  • Effective communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to convey complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
  • Structured and systematic approach to problem-solving, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Experience in hardware product development and manufacturing, or working with external manufacturing partners.
  • Previous experience in a quality function is highly desirable.
Advantageous Skills
  • Knowledge of 3D printing and test jig design.
  • Coding skills for test script development.
  • Experience with lifetime analysis of PCBAs and various types of test jigs.
Environment
  • Familiarity with Fusion 360, Solidworks, and Altium.
