Key Responsibilities:
As the Indirect Procurement Manager, you will oversee the Procurement Strategy for indirect expenditures related to significant investment initiatives. Your role will involve:
- Coordinating procurement efforts with the Purchasing and Sourcing teams.
- Serving as the primary contact for project organization, offering guidance and support on Indirect Spend matters.
- Prioritizing the sourcing pipeline and daily purchasing requests, ensuring alignment of tenders and scopes with central procurement teams and engineering partners.
- Planning and executing sourcing events, managing the sourcing process and negotiations, conducting market analysis of potential suppliers, maintaining the Sourcing Pipeline, and overseeing end-to-end sourcing and contracting activities.
In this capacity, you will manage indirect spending transactions within the project organization, collaborating closely with your team to enhance sourcing and purchasing processes while acting as a liaison between the project organization and central Procurement teams.
Qualifications:
To thrive in this role, we anticipate that you possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive experience as a Procurement Manager, ideally in project environments, complemented by formal or informal leadership experience.
- Proficiency in end-to-end procurement processes within Indirect Spend categories.
- Familiarity with digital procurement tools (e.g., Coupa, ARIBA, SAP or similar).
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; knowledge of Danish is a plus.
- Experience in construction-related projects and familiarity with GxP or the pharmaceutical sector would be advantageous.
On a personal level, you are recognized for your procurement expertise and supportive demeanor. You thrive in a global work environment and excel at communicating complex issues in a clear and understandable manner. You are adept at setting direction and managing multiple changes and priorities.

About the Department:We support our PS API Investment Projects, which are responsible for some of the largest capacity expansion initiatives in the pharmaceutical industry. Our team is integrated within PS API Business Support, giving us a wide area of responsibility and a diverse range of stakeholders within the organization.
We are tasked with managing indirect spending and defining the indirect procurement strategy. Our contributions extend to various optimization projects, providing insights that will shape our future operations.
