Automation Project Manager, Global Automation, Enzymes Europe

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Project Manager to join our team at Novozymes A/S - Novonesis. As an Automation Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing capital Automation and Electrical projects, ensuring they are planned and executed according to our project model and handbook.
Key Responsibilities:- Directly manage capital Automation and Electrical projects, including planning, scheduling, scope preparation, budget development, staffing, design, procurement, installation, start-up, and project turnover.
- Establish and lead effective automation and electrical project teams, ensuring high performance when collaborating with other teams in a project.
- Closely follow-up on project performance to ensure control of quality, budget, schedule, and safety, taking proactive corrective actions when required.
- Prepare regular oral and written reports of capital project progress and status, maintaining the appropriate flow of information and communication to project steering committees and other stakeholders.
- Manage the outsourced project activities of third-party automation system design and programming providers, ensuring Novozymes standards and quality requirements are met.
- Possess a minimum of a B.S. in an Automation and Electrical engineering discipline or a strongly related field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated success in managing capital investment projects in a processing industry, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Knowledge and understanding of capital project management processes, with the ability to lead automation teams and collaborate locally and globally within Novozymes.
- Good organizational skills, effective written and oral communication skills, and good analytical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated to pursue initiatives and able to prioritize tasks and time, with high knowledge in automation processes and expert skills in Novozymes automation systems.
