Vestas, a global leader in sustainable energy solutions, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Associate to join our team at the Nakskov factory. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about ensuring quality and prioritizing safety and well-being in the workplace.

The Nakskov factory produces blades for offshore wind turbines, and we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and motivation to learn new things. Through thorough training and instruction, we will provide you with the tools to become skilled at making wind turbines.

This posting is for those who thrive on working 12-hour day shifts. As a Manufacturing Operations Associate, you will be responsible for:

  1. Safety: At Vestas, safety is our top priority. You must prioritize your own and your colleagues' safety, both physically and mentally.
  2. Quality: Our next priority is top-notch quality, so we expect you to take pride in producing a product that meets standards.
  3. Production Plan: We have plans that need to be met to deliver on time. So, we expect an employee who is diligent and strives to meet deadlines without compromising safety or quality.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A strong physical presence and ability to stand and walk throughout the workday.
  • Experience with 5S and Lean would be advantageous, but not required.
  • An interest in learning new things and being curious about how things work.
  • The ability to contribute to creating a good atmosphere at work and collaborate with your colleagues.
  • No hesitation in adapting to changing tasks and priorities.
