Join Our Team as Senior Food Scientist Leader

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Food Scientist Leader to spearhead our Functional Foods Applied R&D group. In this role, you will be responsible for demonstrating impactful scientific and technical leadership within food science, managing complex projects, and driving innovative problem-solving. Your expertise will contribute to business unit and scientific strategy decisions, solidifying your impact on our organization.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Demonstrating impactful scientific and technical leadership within food science, including managing complex projects and driving innovative problem-solving.
  • Contributing to business unit and scientific strategy decisions, leveraging your expertise to inform our growth and development.
  • Developing new concepts and methods for problem-solving, fostering a culture of innovation within the team.
  • Being a role model within the department, facilitating knowledge sharing and driving technological improvements to advance team competencies.

To Succeed in This Role You Must Hold:

  • Solid experience from the Food industry, with a relevant Food Science background and a seniority of at least +5 years of working in the Food, Biotech or adjacent industry.
  • Innovation mindset and extensive innovation track-record, e.g. patents, publications or similar. A plus if you are experienced with new technology/product scouting.
  • Project management competencies, particularly with complex and/or strategic projects.
  • Leadership experience and competencies (formal/informal).
  • Travelling required, expected at 10-30 days per year.
