Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our team and lead the development of our core systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our distributed systems and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement distributed systems and services, including social servers, queue servers, and other networked services.
- Develop architecture proposals for new services and implement them from the ground up.
- Ensure reliable integrations with third-party solutions, such as databases.
- Collaborate with network engineers to optimize data flows.
- Work closely with DevOps/LiveOps to develop stable and reliable services.
Requirements:
- Many years of experience in developing distributed systems in C++.
- Experience leading a small group of skilled engineers.
- Good grasp of Standard Template Library (STL) and underlying data types.
- Additional experience or interest in writing Golang code.
- Experience with networking/TCP/UDP/Websockets and high throughput via these protocols.
- DevOps mindset and knowledge of monitoring, visualizing, and alerting on services (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Interest in Data-driven design (DoD).
- Passion for learning and sharing knowledge of new technologies.
