ROLE PURPOSE

This senior individual contributor will lead development and execution of local consumer marketing campaigns for all brands within the ZURU toys portfolio under their responsibility. The ultimate goal is driving product sales and delivering impactful and lasting brand experiences.

  • Collaborate with Country Managers to define investments and priorities in line with established brand positioning.
  • Build marketing strategies that align with market vision and goals, ensuring effective coordination across different teams and departments.
  • Manage local agencies/partners where needed - media, translation, VOD partners, etc. for successful campaign execution.
  • Assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns: organize postmortem and present key takeaways along with an understanding of local consumer behaviors and demographics.
  • Create presentations summarizing key information on brand and marketing activities in creative and visual ways.
  • Develop creative briefs for global brand teams and media agencies to work on digital, print, TVC, web, and other campaigns.
  • Work with Global Brand teams on digital, social, and influencer marketing initiatives.
  • Establish and follow processes to connect global teams with local needs, executing with excellence to drive POS and gain market share.
  • Collaborate with licensors to provide regular updates on marketing plans and identify potential partnerships.
  • Ensure commercial budget adherence and invoice processing for each marketing, trade marketing, and commercial activity.
  • Provide event management support when needed, gathering pertinent information and developing brand signage & collateral.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in consumer or brand marketing, ideally in the Toy, Fashion, Consumer Products, or any equivalent fast-paced industry.
  • Advanced understanding of standard marketing techniques including social media, digital, and influencer marketing.
  • Knowledge of retail landscape in assigned region(s): Nordics and Benelux.
  • Language required: English, Danish; additional preferences: Swedish and Finnish.
  • Strong experience in Project Management.
  • Ability to problem-solve and create a plan to reach goals, presenting actionable insights to cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Solid proficiency in MS Office, Excel, G Suite. Figma experience a plus.
  • Highly organized and efficient, able to thrive in high-pressure and time-sensitive environments.
  • Experience with digital marketing tactics, planning & reporting.
