Kongens Lyngby, Lyngby-Tårbæk Kommune, Denmark DTU - Technical University of Denmark Full time

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our multidisciplinary team at DTU, focusing on glycoengineering and gene therapy for cancer. Our team belongs to the Section of Medical Biotechnology at the Department of Biotechnology and Biomedicine.

Glycosylation plays a crucial role in complex biological systems, and we apply advanced technologies to understand its implications. Our main focus areas include immuno-oncology, infectious diseases, and lung disorders. We also explore cell-based glycoengineering for gene therapy and design efficient manufacturing processes.

As a postdoctoral researcher, you will work closely with our team to drive innovation towards therapeutic applications. Your extensive experience in cancer gene therapy, including siRNA, mRNA, and CRISPR-based gene editing, is essential. You must also have expertise in in vitro and in vivo models.

The position requires high motivation, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a strong background in human or mammalian cell engineering, antibody engineering, exosomes as drug delivery tools, and immune-oncology. A relevant PhD degree is mandatory.

We offer a rewarding job in an international environment, with opportunities for academic growth and development. As a postdoctoral researcher at DTU, you will contribute to our research excellence and innovation in the field of glycoengineering and gene therapy.

Our appointment is based on a collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The period of employment is 3 years, with a starting date of May 1, 2025 (or according to mutual agreement).
