Job Title: HSSE Specialist

Maersk is seeking a highly skilled HSSE Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of health, safety, security, and environmental programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Development and Implementation: Develop, implement, and update HSSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace, develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and hazards, and monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk control measures.
  • Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver HSSE training programs for employees, contractors, and other stakeholders, and promote awareness of health, safety, security, and environmental issues throughout the organization.
  • Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate and analyze incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes, prepare and submit accurate and timely incident reports, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to health, safety, security, and the environment, and ensure the organization's compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Emergency Preparedness and Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans, conduct regular drills and training exercises to ensure effective response to emergencies, and monitor and assess environmental impact.
  • Environmental Management: Implement initiatives to reduce the organization's environmental footprint and promote a culture of sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in HSSE (e.g., NEBOSH, CSP) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in a similar HSSE role, preferably in a Contract Logistic Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, security, and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Native Polish, fluent English.
  • Ability to travel to other warehouses up to 30% (Gdańsk, Łódź, Wrocław).
  • Driving license B. cat.
