Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A. is a global leader in the renewable energy sector, and we're seeking an experienced Digital Finance Developer to join our Finance Excellence Team.

In this role, you'll be responsible for improving financial processes, including budget planning, financial planning, actual-versus-plan analysis, benchmarking, forecasting, and reporting activities, with Data Modelling and Automation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the Digitalization activities of the Department by developing Data Models and Process Automation for Business Controlling.
  • Automating and Digitalizing finance processes, Excel sheets, and reports to optimize data pipelines and simplify usage.
  • Supporting Finance controllers by providing data access, reporting, and analysis.
  • Running small development projects and app development tasks, as well as contributing to larger cross-company initiatives.
  • Helping with the rollout of digital solutions, ensuring business continuity and support for key users.
  • Supporting maintenance of Azure infrastructure, including database management, data warehouse management, and basic application management at resource group level.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading the change.
  • A bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting, capital markets, preferably from within the renewable energy sector.
  • English with full professional competence.
  • Previous experience in Financial Modelling.
  • Comfortable utilizing and managing projects in C#, SQL, ASP.NET, and Power Platform.
  • Outstanding communication skills with colleagues outside a technical discipline.
  • A willingness to learn from the finance community and share knowledge with others about digitalization and data modeling.
  • Experience with Power BI and Power Automate.
  • Comfortable with all types of data, data models, data structures, and database techniques.
  • Very comfortable with SQL, SSIS, and SQL Views.
  • A result-oriented and hands-on approach to your job.
  • Excellent communication skills with a strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Strategic, proactive, and analytic in your approach, and able to handle a lot of data.
