Senior Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture design and implementation, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.

• Design and implement complex cloud solutions on the Azure platform, considering scalability, reliability, security, and performance aspects.
• Develop architecture blueprints, diagrams, and technical documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time and with quality.
• Lead the deployment and configuration of Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, storage, databases, and other services.
• Provide expertise in designing, building, and optimizing cloud-native applications and microservices using Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Service Fabric.
• Implement robust security measures and compliance standards within Azure environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and compliance frameworks like GDPR and ISO27001.
• Optimize the performance and efficiency of Azure workloads through performance tuning, monitoring, and capacity planning.
• Cross-functional collaboration with developers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical guidance, and drive successful cloud solution implementations.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Extensive experience (10+ years) in cloud architecture design and implementation, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong expertise in Azure services and solutions, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or Biceps.
• Solid understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, encryption, and compliance standards.
• Experience with cloud-native application development, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies.
• Extensive experience in software development - preferably with.NET Core, Python, Bicep, SQL, Bash, PowerShell, Go, and YAML.
• Proven experience with leading and coaching agile teams as well as promoting lean architecture and software development practices.
• SCRUM certified, with solid skills in monitoring and managing costs on a cloud-based platform.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
