Job Description:

A Digital Marketing Strategist is sought after by Dept Digital Marketing ApS to spearhead the development of our upper funnel digital marketing practice. This role requires identifying new internal and external opportunities, collaborating closely with advertising consultants and programmatic teams.

About the Job:

  • This position involves working in a commercially focused team, supporting Account Directors and Account Managers in creating strategic account hit lists, following up on leads, and deploying internal roadshows.
  • The successful candidate will act as a liaison between international teams for advertising-related opportunities, primarily focusing on media channels such as display advertising, digital radio/tv, and digital out-of-home advertising.
  • You will represent DEPT towards partners like Google, Facebook, Amazon, and Microsoft in sales matters.
  • This role demands taking ownership, working with executive stakeholders, but also being part of a team that can provide support and learning opportunities.
  • You should be comfortable networking, making contact with strangers, and possessing excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • At least 3-5 years of commercial experience within upper funnel advertising and brand building are required, along with a proactive approach to spotting opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Good communication skills, not afraid to present, and network effectively.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in selling projects in media/advertising.
  • Ability to qualify leads by asking the right questions (BANT or similar).
  • You are a consultative seller who has already gained commercial experience and can share a story about your best win.
  • Capable of advising clients on how to successfully build their business via effective use of upper funnel media strategies.
  • Familiarity with advertising and AI concepts (display, CTV, DOOH, etc.) and how they contribute to business success.
  • Basic understanding of offline marketing and its relation to online marketing.
  • Ambitious and eager to learn.
  • Directly available to start work in Denmark.
  • Working proficiency in Danish and English languages.
