Maersk, the world's largest shipping company, is undergoing a digital transformation to become an industrial digital giant. As a Platform Product Owner, you will play a key role in building the future digital pricing solution.

About the Role

The Platform Product Owner will be responsible for identifying opportunities and building functionality and products that deliver impact. You will work with a diverse team of data scientists, engineers, and software developers to automate price decision making for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of data scientists, engineers, and software developers working on automating price decision making for our products
  • Align with business teams on goals for optimization, balancing trade-offs between short-term and long-term profit, volume, growth, etc.
  • Define short and long-term strategy to achieve optimization goals
  • Build and maintain your team's roadmap, including defining requirements for new products and features while optimizing existing functionality
  • Define and evaluate your product across relevant metrics to make impactful decisions and report on the team's success towards key initiatives
Requirements
  • Customer-obsessed, with a clear track record of delivering elegant solutions for true user problems
  • Experience using machine learning to develop world-class products
  • Experience running A/B tests and developing testing strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to guide vision, including querying, aggregating, analyzing, and creating visualizations
  • Proven ability to manage and speak with stakeholders in business and technology
  • Visible drive and growth mindset
  • Crisp communication, both written and oral
  • 2+ years' experience as a Platform Product Owner or comparable role
  • Computer science, statistics, operations research, or engineering background, including hands-on software development experience
