About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager to lead our Technical Production Support team in PS API Business Support in Kalundborg. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for setting the direction for Metrology & Calibration and spare part handling across PS API.

Key Responsibilities
  • Department Leadership: Lead a department focused on metrology and calibration, managing both leaders and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)
  • Compliance & Quality: Handle inspections, audits and ensure compliance with quality standards (cGMP)
  • Operations Management: Spare parts management, timely delivery of spare parts, calibrations, timely metrology training, deviation handling and ensuring shop floor attendance
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in systemic problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, interacting with process group activities within Metrology and Maintenance, and supporting customer requests with high quality
Requirements
  • An academic background in manufacturing, pharma or engineering is preferred but not mandatory
  • Proven leadership experience, including line management, ideally in a manufacturing or technical environment
  • Experience in environments with a strong cGMP focus is important, preferably from the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated industries
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external vendors
  • Proficiency in English is required; Danish is advantageous
About the Department

Technical Production Support (TPS) at Novo Nordisk is a crucial function within the API Business Support. It involves various activities aimed at ensuring the smooth operation of production processes.

  • Warehouse and Inventory Management: TPS handles warehouse capacity constraints and inventory control, ensuring that storage and manning are fit for future needs and support automated processes
  • Metrology and Calibration: TPS is involved in metrology and calibration activities, train calibration technicians across API, proactively participating in projects and seeking innovative technologies to improve processes
  • Training and Quality Support: TPS provides training resources, Quality & GMP support to improve robustness within API Business Support. This includes managing GMP-regulated work and ensuring compliance with industry standards
