Senior Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team as a Linux Platform Expert.

The RTX Linux BSP team is looking for an individual with expertise in developing and maintaining embedded Linux platforms, used in various product segments. Our platforms are based on the Yocto build system and have a security-focused design.

You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing application supporting upstream focused APIs, as well as participating in selecting, qualifying, and bringing up new SoCs. Additionally, you will enhance the fully automated test development environment and release and maintain the software as a platform to other projects.

To be successful in this role, you must have experience with embedded C/C++ development in resource-constrained products, providing a Linux-based development API stack for upstream use, and Linux architectures, API usage, design, test, and implementation.

Our ideal candidate will also possess excellent English written and oral documentation and communication skills, a MS/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related experience, and experience working with and developing embedded platforms and products.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
