Embedded Linux Platform Architect

RDX A/S is seeking an exceptional Embedded Linux Platform Architect to join our team in Region Midtjylland/Nordjylland. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of approximately 113,000 DKK per year.

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated individual to architect and maintain our embedded Linux platforms used in various RTX product segments. The ideal candidate will have experience with developing and implementing application supporting upstream focused APIs, designing and implementing core features, and participating in selecting, qualifying, and bringing up new SoCs.

• Experience with embedded C/C++ development in resource-constrained products
• Expertise in providing a Linux-based development API stack for upstream use
• Strong knowledge of Linux architectures, API usage, design, test, and implementation

• MS/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields

In this role, you will be responsible for the full life cycle management of the software, including architecting, designing, and implementing application supporting upstream focused APIs, designing and implementing core features, and participating in selecting, qualifying, and bringing up new SoCs. You will also be involved in enhancing the fully automated test development environment, releasing and maintaining the software as a platform to other projects, and sustaining and bug fixing the software platform post-integration.

The RTX Linux BSP team is a key stakeholder in bringing up and integrating SoCs into the platform, providing a full BSP including kernel mode drivers, build systems, CI/CD pipelines, auto tests, and documentation. We are currently going through a transition from customer-driven solutions to a series of more roadmap-driven, platform-supported solutions, and you will play a core part in this transition by providing the Linux platform as the basis of and driving this transition.
