Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Laboratory Test Engineer or Technician to join our R&D center in Kolding, Denmark. As a key member of our test team, you will play a crucial role in the development of energy management products, with a focus on 3-phase Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and power converters.
Key Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Prepare product samples and test setups, and execute the product design, verification, and validation test plan according to internal procedures or relevant standards to ensure the quality and functionality of the target products.
- Test Development: Propose and describe new tests for new features or to improve test efficiency.
- Test Execution and Reporting: Comply with the project test plan for definition and execution, mainly including electrical, thermal, environment, mechanical, certification, HALT, safety, and EMC function. Create and document test reports and summaries for performed tests and present to interested stakeholders.
- Lab Management: Support the laboratory management when assigned, including equipment and asset management, following external services execution, equipment calibration, acquiring test equipment or other essentials needed for the lab and office operation.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties related to test or workplace as required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or a technician degree with relevant experience.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience with electronics test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum or power analyzers, electronic loads, and signal generators and data loggers.
- EMI/EMC test knowledge is an advantage.
- Test Management Tools.
- Power converter or UPS and its related technical standards.
