At STARK Group, we are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Leader to spearhead our IT security strategy and drive measurable improvements in cybersecurity performance.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in complex, multinational environments and will be responsible for developing and executing an enterprise-wide security strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.

This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic leader who can foster a culture of collaboration and inclusion within the organization. As a key member of the IT management team, the Cybersecurity Leader will report directly to the Chief Digital & Information Officer (CDIO).

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Oversight: Lead the design and implementation of a cybersecurity strategy that supports STARK Group's business objectives, ensuring policies, procedures, and frameworks evolve to stay ahead of emerging threats and regulatory changes.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate security risks, ensuring full compliance with relevant security standards and frameworks, conducting regular audits and vulnerability assessments to reduce risk exposure.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Partner with IT teams, business units, and regional CIOs to integrate security best practices into all IT initiatives, building strong relationships with vendors, regulators, and peers to stay ahead of cybersecurity trends.
  • Security Advisory: Provide expert guidance on secure design and implementation of IT systems across applications, infrastructure, and cloud platforms, ensuring robust security is embedded in all digital transformation projects.
  • People Management: Lead and develop the Information Security team within a collaborative, results-driven environment, overseeing recruitment, establishing clear performance expectations, and driving continuous skill development to build a team capable of delivering exceptional security outcomes.
