About the Position
Aalborg Universitet (AAU) is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Department of Materials and Production. As a postdoctoral researcher, you will be working on a project focused on developing new composite materials and recycling technologies for wind turbine blades.
Project Description
The project, part of the EU Horizon Europe initiatives "CIRCWIND" and "MADE4WIND", aims to develop and validate innovative technologies for current and future wind turbines. You will be working on the experimental and material science aspects of the CIRCWIND project, focusing on the development of new composite materials and recycling technologies.
Your Responsibilities
As a postdoctoral researcher, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and conducting experiments to develop new composite materials and recycling technologies
- Collecting and analyzing data to evaluate the performance of the developed materials and technologies
- Collaborating with the project team to ensure the successful implementation of the project objectives
- Communicating research findings through publications and presentations
Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must have a PhD degree in materials science, mechanical engineering, or a related field. You should have a strong background in experimental characterization of fibrous materials, composite material science, and data analysis.
