About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation Systems Manager to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our IT & Automation team, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of IT/OT solutions to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and security.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT and OT systems, preferably SCADA and PLC. They will also possess proficiency in network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and data management, as well as experience with IT/OT requirement settings, design, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Support: Provide expert support for IT/OT systems, troubleshooting issues, and minimizing downtime.
  • Compliance: Ensure configuration and user management, ensuring business continuity in terms of backup and recovery to minimize downtime.
  • IT Security: Ensure IT/OT systems comply with relevant security standards and regulatory requirements, implementing and monitoring cybersecurity measures to protect OT systems from threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Projects and System Integration: Design, implement, and verify the integration of new PLC/SCADA systems, ensuring compatibility and interoperability, working closely with engineering, production, and IT teams to develop robust integration solutions.
  • Life Cycle Management: Conduct Life Cycle Assessment of systems regarding Vendor support, Recovery, Hardware, Software, and OS support, making software and hardware upgrades based on the assessment.
Requirements:
  • A higher education degree within Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience with management of IT/OT solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
