Job Opportunity:
Novo Nordisk A/S is seeking a skilled professional to lead its Automation team. As a Technical Lead for AP Automation, you will oversee the development and implementation of automation solutions to drive efficiency and productivity in our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee resource responsibility for AP Automation standardization (GMP, Formulation, Filling, Inspection, Wash & Sterilisation, Clean Utilities and more).
- Provide input for procurement and handle technical clarifications before and during execution, prepare and participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning.
- Conduct competency mapping and develop plans for automation engineers, including setting up relevant training.
- Align best practices across AP Automation disciplines/work packages.
- Manage stakeholders and develop strong relationships with Future Standards counterparts.
- Build partnerships with external vendors.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Automation/Electrical Engineering, Electronic and Computer, Information and Communication Technology, or similar.
- Significant experience in industrial automation projects (experience with greenfield projects is a plus).
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to engage with stakeholders from diverse areas and backgrounds to co-create solutions that drive value to the company.
- Expertise in SCADA/PLC/MES environments, communication protocols (OPC UA, IO-link, MQTT, Profibus, Profinet), OT/IT architectures, cybersecurity best practices, and tools to structure industrial data (databases, namely SQL).
- The ability to work independently and effectively while securing task completion, and strong teamwork and leadership abilities in project teams.
- The capacity to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
