Job Description

The successful candidate will contribute to research that could revolutionize our understanding of stellar structure and evolution.

  • Create and coordinate a comprehensive grid of stellar and pulsation models for A and F stars.
  • Analyze how different model parameters affect pulsation characteristics.
  • Use asteroseismology to study near-core and surface magnetic fields, integrating findings into a broader understanding of stellar structures.
  • Analyze how magnetic fields affect pulsation frequencies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in stellar modeling, strong analytical skills and a proven track record of research publications.

  • PhD degree in a relevant field.

Benefits

We offer a rewarding and challenging job in an international environment, a salary range of approximately $65,000 - $85,000 per year, and the opportunity to work on a project with high scientific potential.
