Senior Compliance Officer, Control Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our Control Testing team at Danske Bank. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our controls and compliance with regulatory requirements.
About the Role:As a Senior Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for testing the design and operational effectiveness of controls against Group Policy requirements and external regulatory requirements. You will analyze and review regulatory/financial crime regulation and policy requirements, as well as other data points, to determine a targeted risk-based approach to testing.
You will investigate and assess internal processes, procedures, and control frameworks to scope and plan the Control Testing. You will exercise knowledge and analytical skills to carry out and test according to the scope, and raise observations on areas where you find risks that need mitigation.
You will maintain ongoing collaboration with stakeholders, as you will be in touch with our stakeholders on mitigations and closure of observations.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze and review regulatory/financial crime regulation and policy requirements and expectations;
- Investigate and assess internal processes, procedures, and control frameworks;
- Exercise knowledge and analytical skills to carry out and test according to the scope;
- Maintain ongoing collaboration with stakeholders;
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ years of experience in risk, compliance, internal audit, or control testing in the financial sector;
- Advanced skill in English, both verbal and written;
- Planning, organizing and prioritization capability;
- Experience in undertaking investigations/analysis with the ability to draw inferences from the information;
