Job Description
Our hotline team in the automotive department works daily with technical support, troubleshooting, and assistance with test equipment, as well as installation and setup of workshop computers. We support our customers, many of whom are workshops in the Nordic region. We are now looking for an additional skilled automotive technician with an interest in supporting and helping our customers with their technical challenges. We are looking for someone who is passionate about automotive technology, has a broad knowledge of various car brands, and has extensive experience with diagnostic testers and oscilloscopes, preferably Bosch. The ideal candidate should be able to communicate and help both new and experienced mechanics with troubleshooting.
Your Responsibilities:
- You will be ready to take the phone and help the customer, either directly on the phone or by reassigning the task
- Tech product support, where you provide support on Bosch test equipment
- Hotline support for troubleshooting, technical challenges, and repairs at automotive workshops
- Computer support for customers who experience issues with their Bosch testers
Requirements
Your Profile:
- Knowledge of installation and setup of IT equipment with MS Windows
- Familiarity with and experience working with electronic systems, automotive electronics, and modern diagnostic test equipment (preferably Bosch), as well as troubleshooting using these
- You work independently and professionally with planning and solving tasks within the team's work areas
- Good communication skills, where you are outgoing and service-minded and enjoy problem-solving
- Good knowledge of Norwegian and English, as well as a good knowledge of the other Nordic languages is preferred
