About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled researcher to join our team at DTU Construct, focusing on thermal management and thermal energy storage applications. This role involves working on multi-dimensional heat transfer modelling, optimization, and experimentation in research fields related to advanced thermal systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modelling and simulation of components, cycles, and systems related to electric vehicles, electronic devices, sensible and latent heat thermal energy storage systems, and thermo-mechanical energy storage technologies
- Experimental work in laboratory and industrial settings
- Development of novel research proposals in collaboration with partners in academia and industry
- Teaching and supervision of students
Required Qualifications:
- PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Strong background in thermal sciences, with experience in conceptualization, modelling, design, optimization, and feasibility studies of electric vehicles and energy storage systems
- Experience in research proposal development and publication of recent research results in international scientific media
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The estimated salary range is approximately DKK 550,000 - 650,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to the salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a pension plan, health insurance, and paid vacation time.
