About this Opportunity

Welcome to the Applied Data Science team at Nordea Bank This role requires a passion for working with people from both technical and business backgrounds, as well as a curiosity for AI and new innovations like Generative AI. Responsibilities:

  1. EU AI Act Implementation Plan: Design and ensure the implementation plan for EU AI Act compliance across the organization.
  2. Responsible AI Best Practices: Disseminate best practices and serve as a point of contact for all AI efforts, guaranteeing the adoption of responsible AI practices throughout the bank.
  3. Risk Protocols Education: Educate use case owners and relevant stakeholders on bank-wide risk protocols and external regulations.
  4. Ethical Standards Commitment: Conduct research and ensure commitment to ethical standards of AI governance, including fairness, accountability, transparency, privacy, and human rights.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree: In Computer Science, Data Science, Risk Management, or a related Legal discipline.
  • EU AI Act Proficiency: Familiarity with the EU AI Act and other relevant AI regulations (GDPR).
  • Technical Communication Skills: Ability to clearly communicate technical content to non-technical audiences and educate multiple stakeholders on responsible AI.
  • Data Management Knowledge: Understanding of Data Management and Governance frameworks, including data quality, security, privacy, and compliance processes and procedures.
  • AI Model Mitigation: Knowledge of AI & GenAI model mitigation processes for associated risks, such as hallucination, fairness, explainability.

A Competitive Salary: €80,000 - €110,000 per annum
