The Technical Safety function plays a vital role in our organization, offering facilitation/assistance in a wide range of risk assessments, including HAZID/HAZOP and other workshops. We also support Noble's overall Barrier Management Strategy, guiding the company in safety initiatives with a basis in technical barriers.

This position can be based in Denmark (Lyngby), the UK (Aberdeen) or Poland (Gdansk). As a Technical Safety Engineer, you will develop and implement requirements relating to HSE Case development, barrier management, including bowtie analysis, performance standards and associated verification activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement requirements for HSE Case development, barrier management, and performance standards
  • SUPPORT AND DRIVE DEVELOPMENT OF DESIGN SAFETY PHILOSOPHIES
  • FACILITATE AND PROVIDE INPUT TO HAZARD STUDIES AND ASSESSMENTS (HAZID/HAZOP/FMEA)
  • ASSIST IN THE CONTRACTING OF, CONDUCT AND QUALITY CONTROL OF RISK ANALYSES (QRA, BOWTIE, LOPA, FIRE AND EXPLOSION, ETC.)
