The University of Copenhagen is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a fixed-term position as a Professor of Rural Health Challenges, Interventions, and Inequality. This role is part of the Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities 2020 and is limited to a period of 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and teaching in the field of rural health challenges, interventions, and inequality.
  • Develop and implement academic programs related to rural health and wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to advance knowledge and practice in rural health.

Terms of Employment:

  • 37 hours of work per week.
  • Salary and other terms and conditions of appointment are set in accordance with the Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and AC (Danish Confederation of Professional Associations) or other relevant professional organisations.

Requirements:

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • Proven track record of research and teaching in rural health.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
