We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join our global Offshore Wind Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical design on projects, driving technology developments, and collaborating with international colleagues to deliver innovative solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise as discipline lead for floating and bottom-fixed structures.
- Conduct geotechnical site assessments and contribute to foundation design.
- Develop geotechnical designs for offshore support structures, including numerical modeling.
- Plan and interpret offshore geotechnical site surveys.
- Document project results and attend project meetings with clients.
- Coordinate project development in the bid and execution phases.
- Manage the geotechnical discipline within projects.
- Contribute to technical development of solutions.
- Collaborate with international colleagues to share knowledge and best practices.
We are looking for a highly qualified individual with a Master's degree or PhD in Civil Engineering, preferably with a focus on geotechnical engineering. You should have significant experience in geotechnical engineering, wind energy, and/or numerical modeling and seismic design. Additionally, you should have experience working in the offshore wind or oil and gas industry, or other related sectors.
We value a reliable, solution-oriented, and systematic approach to working, especially when dealing with project or technical challenges. You should also have effective communication skills that support solid relationships with colleagues and clients.
