About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Energy Transition Platform team at Maersk. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for scaling our commercial emissions reduction products, calculating our internal emissions inventory, and measuring the impact of our reduction investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining complex models to represent our business operations and emissions data
- Mapping data flows and performing quantitative analysis to identify areas for improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to evaluate new business cases and develop future roadmaps
- Communicating with stakeholders to ensure that changes delivered provide value to the business
- Developing and calculating key KPIs and success measures for products
About You:
- You have a passion for building product and working in the intersection of business, data, and technology systems
- You have a strong understanding of software engineering principles and agile project management methodologies
- You are a professional, highly dedicated, detail-oriented, and energetic personality, with the ability to work and thrive in a team environment
- You have demonstrated the ability to create and deliver complex solutions, including building platforms
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering, or a technical field. A postgraduate degree is preferred.
- 3+ yrs. Business analyst/engineering and/or product development experience in a regulated environment like banking or energy trading or high performance environment like Amazon
- Successful project management and/or analytics experience in complex environments, identifying and resolving challenges
- Knowledge in energy efficiency, decarbonization, and climate calculations a bonus
