The University of Copenhagen is seeking a talented postdoctoral researcher to join its team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Basic Metabolic Research. The successful candidate will contribute to a groundbreaking research project that aims to uncover new insights into cardiometabolic diseases.

The postdoctoral fellow will work closely with a team of researchers to analyze large-scale datasets and develop innovative approaches to identify novel clinical biomarkers and therapeutic targets. **Key Responsibilities**

  • Analyze high-throughput mass spectrometry-based plasma proteomics data in combination with electronic health registry data and genetic information from 4,180 Greenlandic individuals.
  • Develop and apply statistical methods to identify protein quantitative trait loci (pQTLs) and their association with cardiometabolic disease outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of a comprehensive understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying cardiometabolic diseases.
  • Collaborate with researchers from diverse backgrounds to advance knowledge in the field.
  • Disseminate research findings through publications in peer-reviewed journals.
