Wind Energy Desktop Software Expert

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team working on developing desktop software for renewable energy applications, particularly wind energy, through the industry-leading windPRO software.
Main Responsibilities:
- To develop software solutions for desktop software as part of a cross-functional team, primarily on the windPRO software.
- To implement advanced calculation methods and algorithms for internal and external use in the software.
- To contribute to R&D Project specification, facilitation, and realisation.
- To enhance and refine existing software products for the wind energy sector.
- To ensure quality assurance of developed software solutions.
- To develop data and contribute to high-performance computing models and methods.
Requirements:
A M.Sc. or PhD in Engineering or Science preferably with a background in software-engineering, wind energy, energy systems, renewable energy, physics, numerical modelling, computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and/or atmospheric flow models.
Personal Qualities:
A dedicated team player with excellent problem-solving skills and a high level of spoken and written English.
