We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical oncologist to join our team as a consultant at the Department of Oncology at Herlev Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to combine a clinical position with a 5-year externally funded position as clinical professor of Clinical Oncology with special focus on Immuno-Oncology at the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.
Key Responsibilities- Work in Clinic 5, which takes care of patients with malignant melanoma, pancreatic cancer, and phase 1 trials.
- Participate in national and international collaboration on clinical trials.
- Emphasize qualifications within management, communication, and the ability to collaborate both interdisciplinary and with cooperating departments.
- Contribute to the development of clinical research and teaching within the department.
- Be a broadly trained and experienced consultant in oncology or internal medicine with documented oncological experience.
- Have a strong track record of clinical research and teaching.
- Be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex information to patients and colleagues.
The clinical professor will receive secretarial or technical support equivalent to 50% of a full-time secretary position from the Department of Oncology. Additional support and details on the working conditions must be negotiated with the head of the Department.
