Clinical Professor in Geriatrics

A clinical position as geriatric consultant at the Department of Geriatrics at Hvidovre Hospital is available for appointment. The position is combined with a clinical professorship in Internal Medicine: Geriatrics at the university.
The department aims to strengthen its leadership in clinical research and teaching in collaboration with the university. We seek a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine: Geriatrics.
The clinical professor will allocate at least 50% of working time to academic tasks, including research, teaching, and evaluation. The remaining time will be allocated for clinical work. The clinical professor will receive secretarial support equivalent to 50% of a full-time secretary position.
The application must include a curriculum vitae, a complete list of publications, and a description of how the applicant is qualified as a clinical expert, communicator, collaborator, manager, health advocate, scholar, and professional.
Clinical Functions and Focus Areas
The department focuses on comprehensive geriatric assessment, ward rounds, outpatient clinics, supervision, and patient assessment in the emergency department. We prioritize patient involvement, early discharge planning, and hospital at home.
Research and Teaching
The department aims to strengthen its leadership in clinical research and teaching in collaboration with the university. We seek a board-certified specialist in Internal Medicine: Geriatrics.

Applicants must be board-certified specialists in Internal Medicine: Geriatrics. Conditions
The applicant must submit an application to both the university and the hospital. Appointment is conditioned by the fact that the applicant obtains both positions.
