Key Responsibilities




  • Design and develop electric drive systems for pitch systems in wind turbines based on requirements and technical specifications.
  • Develop internal design and simulation tools for the pitch system.
  • Conduct dynamic analysis and simulation of the pitch system using MATLAB/Simulink or Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product development and launch.
  • Develop our supplier basis to accommodate the technologies for tomorrow's pitch system.
  • Assist in developing detailed engineering designs, models, and drawings using CAD software.
  • Participate in prototype testing and analysis to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for improvement.


Requirements



To succeed in this role, you will need:




  • A Master's or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Control Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in simulation and design of hydraulic systems or electrical drive systems, preferably for wind turbine pitch systems.
  • A solid understanding of mechatronic systems design and simulations.
  • A customer-focused approach with a holistic understanding of the business value chain.
  • Good experience with system engineering tools like DFMEA, HSE assessments, and requirement specifications.


Competencies




  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Experience with CAD tools such as Creo.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in both written and oral English communication.
  • Ability to work individually and as part of a team.


Salary and Benefits



The estimated annual salary for this role is around 80,000 - 110,000 EUR, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive package, including a comprehensive benefits program, generous time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
