Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine innovative wind turbine technology, collaborating with international professionals to drive progress in the field.
  • Design and develop electric drive systems for pitch systems, ensuring peak performance and reliability in the renewable energy sector.
  • Conduct dynamic analysis and simulation of pitch systems using MATLAB/Simulink or Python, informing design decisions and optimizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective product development and launch, driving business value and growth.
  • Develop and maintain supplier relationships, ensuring access to cutting-edge technologies for tomorrow's pitch systems.
  • Provide technical support to service teams, leveraging expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.

Requirements:

  • Masters or Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Control Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in simulation and design of hydraulic systems or electrical drive systems, preferably for wind turbine pitch systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechatronic systems design and simulations, with proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and CAD tools like Creo.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work individually and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in both written and oral English communication, with customer-focused approach and holistic understanding of the business value chain.
