At VML MAP, we're seeking a proactive and strategic Senior People Partner to drive our people operations with long-term business goals. This role is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our newly formed people team and become part of a growing organization.

About the Opportunity:

As an Operational Senior People Partner, you will serve as a strategic linchpin, facilitating seamless people operations across various departments and locations. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers by offering insights and solutions on the employee lifecycle.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will work hands-on with people tasks and operations in a high-performance culture.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement People strategies to support overall business objectives.
  • Partner with managers to provide strategic People support, ensuring fair and consistent evaluations and feedback.
  • Research and build out best practices, educating the wider organization on people processes, employment law, and encouraging employee well-being.
  • Ensure compliance with various employment-related legislations and policies.
  • Take on ad hoc people tasks relating to the employee experience and culture we would like to foster within VML MAP.

About You:

The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic professional who can generate momentum by helping managers drive the operational success of their departments and teams. You enjoy being hands-on, whilst your strategic approach and curiosity enable you to research inquiries, problem-solve, and identify room for improvements.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
  • +3 years of experience in a people/HR role.
  • Record of successfully working with senior leaders and managers.
  • Strong knowledge of people/HR practices and employment law.
  • A great sense of fairness, empathy, and accountability.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
