CareerArc is seeking a seasoned Regulatory Affairs Expert to lead the development of our open banking business in Europe. As a key member of the Global Regulatory Team, you will play a critical role in shaping our strategy and ensuring regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

About the Role

In this role, you will advise on supervision and regulatory examinations by DFSA and FCA, building relationships with key regulators to drive business growth. You will work closely with the Regulatory Compliance team to identify regulatory obligations, including regulatory reporting, and perform regulatory analysis of new Mastercard open banking products and services in Denmark and the UK.

  • Develop and implement regulatory strategies to drive business growth
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Build relationships with key regulators to drive business growth

You will need a deep understanding of Danish financial services regulations, particularly open banking, and broader corporate compliance requirements for regulated financial entities. Your solid knowledge of innovative technologies relating to open banking and payment services, including digital and new payment solutions and platforms, will enable you to communicate complex regulatory issues in simple and concise terms.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in law from an established university
  • Qualified lawyer with mid-level experience and track record of success in legal practice in fields drawn from technology, finance, corporate, and commercial law
  • Fluent in Danish and English (written and spoken)
