Transforming Energy for a Sustainable Future

Siemes Gamesa is seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our team within the Loads and Control System Module. As a leader in the wind industry, we are committed to driving the energy transition and providing innovative solutions for a sustainable future. We require an individual with strong project management skills, technical knowledge, and a passion for renewable energy to manage projects within the Loads and Control System Module.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support scoping activities and align with internal and external stakeholders to execute projects within defined requirements.
  • Ensure business success, customer satisfaction, and professional stakeholder management.
  • Ensure timely decisions on open issues, escalating where necessary.
  • Support Team Leads and Department Heads with resourcing activities.
  • Lead project team members to cooperation and promote efficient ways of working.

Technical Expertise

  • Manage a network of technical specialists to realize customer-specific components, systems, or solutions.
  • Coordinate Engineering tasks and cooperate with involved regional Engineering units, including their interfaces.
  • Perform technical and project risk management.
  • Manage technical risks and opportunities, interfaces, alignment, and project governance activities.

Requirements

  • A MSc degree in Wind Energy, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
  • A strong understanding of Turbine Control Systems and/or Aeroelastic Load Simulations, Design, and Validation with a minimum of 3 years' experience.
  • An ability to solve difficult challenges through innovation, dedication, and cooperation with a global team.
  • A holistic mindset and strong communication skills, and maintain solid oversight of projects.
  • A drive to make a difference for future wind turbine design and operational capabilities.
  • A willingness and ability to travel internationally on an occasional basis.
