About the Job:
We are looking for a Digital Solutions Developer to join our team at Vestas. As a Digital Solutions Developer, you will be responsible for developing and managing digital solutions within the area of Industry 4.0 and Product Life Cycle Management.
The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of PLM discipline and experience with modular product development, product structure & architecture tools. They will also have a good understanding of ECM (Engineering Change Management) and solid experience with BOM management.
As a member of our distributed team following SCRUM framework and a product increment strategy, you will engage in creating demos to highlight the applicability of different Windchill features to meet our goals. You will also re-think Vestas data model and BoM management, and create required documentation (procedures, guidelines, etc.).
Key Responsibilities:
- Explore Windchill and Creo functionalities to achieve an efficient Overloaded & Configurable BoM.
- Propose new ways of organizing our product, having in mind the upstream and downstream needs/constraints.
- Create Demos to highlight the applicability of different Windchill features to meet our goals.
- Re-think Vestas data model and BoM management.
- Creating required documentation (procedures, guidelines, etc.).
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering or System Engineering or similar with 10+ years of work experience.
- Good understanding of PLM discipline.
- Experience with modular product development, product structure & architecture tools.
- Solid experience with BOM management.
- End to end understanding about ECM (Engineering Change Management).
- Solid experience in ERP software(SAP), PLM software, PTC Windchill preferred.
- Solid experience with Parametric Design using CAD software's, Creo Parametric preferred.
