Molecular Biology Expert in Human Tissue Analysis

This position involves working as a technical assistant for AC-TAP research and providing support for students and researchers with laboratory experiments. You will also be responsible for managing procurement and payments according to Aarhus University's regulations.
Specific tasks include:
- Embedding, cutting, and staining tissues and cells from humans using stereological principles.
- Coding for image analysis using software like ImageJ, Python, and Matlab.
- Assisting with quantification using digital light microscopy, confocal laser scanning microscopy, light sheet microscopy, and electron microscopy.
You should have experience in immunolabeling various subtypes of Schwann cells and other non-neuronal cells from skin biopsies. Excellent interpersonal skills and fluency in oral and written English are also required.
