We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Lead to join our team at Novo Nordisk. As a key member of our Investment | Engineering & Sourcing department, you will play a critical role in driving our net zero strategy and ensuring the sustainability of our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the execution of our net zero strategy, working closely with junior colleagues to drive decarbonization efforts.
- Develop and implement key decarbonization levers, ensuring alignment and knowledge sharing across relevant governance bodies and working groups.
- Drive ad hoc deliverables towards IES management and senior leadership, serving as the primary contact for implementing net zero initiatives within our capital expenditure domain.
- Collaborate with senior project managers and strategic suppliers to promote the use of low carbon materials and renewable energy in our supply chain.
- A master's degree in sustainability, supply chain, business, finance, economics, or related fields.
- At least 6 years of relevant experience in sustainability, project execution, financial processes, optimization projects, or steering complex processes.
- Insights into environmental impact and understanding of environmental parameters.
- Previous experience working with low carbon steel and concrete or renewable heat is an advantage.
