Job Description:
The successful candidate will have a good degree in Engineering (MEng or similar) and be fluent in Danish and English. Experience in structural design, working with Eurocodes, and knowledge of sustainable design principles are essential. The role requires producing detailed designs to meet client requirements, liaising with other disciplines, and ensuring coordination of design and detailing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out structural surveys and providing initial advice on any issues that may arise
- Preparing conceptual and outline designs for structural schemes
- Preparing detailed design calculations to Eurocodes and local National Annexes
- Preparing detailed design drawings and specifications for tender purposes
- Responding to client requests for information
- Supporting the production of construction information for issue to contractors
- Visiting sites during the construction phase to monitor progress and provide advice to contractors
- Day-to-day support to colleagues from other disciplines within the office
- Attending team meetings with both internal and external disciplines
