We are seeking a driven Project Manager to join our R&D department in Copenhagen. You will play a crucial role in managing cross-functional project teams towards the successful development of innovative, high-tech products.

INVISIO is a global market leader of advanced tactical hearing protection and communication solutions used in extreme and highly demanding environments, e.g., by operatives within the defense and law enforcement worldwide.

About the job

As an INVISIO R&D Project Manager, you will be responsible for driving projects from early specification and planning stages until the products are running smoothly in production.

You will work in a growing, highly dynamic, and high-tech environment, collaborating with colleagues from various departments such as Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality Management, Product Management, and functional groups within R&D, including engineers with expertise in electronics, hardware, firmware, acoustics, DSP, mechanics, and more.

Your key responsibility will be to lead a cross-functional project group efficiently, ensuring that deliverables are met within the planned time, budget, and specifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for continuously developing our product development skills and processes.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Manage the product development project from initiation to closure according to our processes, ensuring specifications, cost, quality, and timelines are met.
  2. Lead and coordinate a cross-functional product development team, facilitating teamwork and efficient ways of working.
  3. Secure production, logistics, and administrative setup before product release, including final production and project documentation.
  4. Communicate status and updates to Management and other relevant functions.
  5. Coordinate project activities across all functions and ensure effective communication among all stakeholders.
  6. Perform risk management and contingency planning, managing corrective actions to ensure stable progress and meet deadlines.
About you

The ideal candidate has a background as an engineer, some years of experience in project management, and an interest in high-tech product development projects.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent planning, coordination, and communication skills. You should be able to inspire and effectively communicate, guiding projects from conception to completion with precision and efficiency. Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional product development teams is essential.

Skills we are looking for:

  1. Educational background in engineering.
  2. Experience in technical project management throughout all phases of product development.
  3. Strong communication skills and a talent for inspiring your project team.
  4. Experience in developing mechatronic devices combining electronics, mechanics, FW, and acoustics.
  5. Preferable experience in working with stage-gate product development processes.
  6. Excellent oral and written English skills, as it is our company language.
What we offer

A workplace that offers professional and personal growth, with opportunities for future development to achieve career objectives.
