Manage Day-to-Day Operations

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Assembly Launch and Execution department. This role involves actively directing the team to provide continuous training support and serving as the single point of contact for the Training Project lead.

About the Role

  • Ensure safe working practices among team members for assigned projects.
  • Oversee daily operations, manage team performance, and coordinate with the Training Project lead to plan work and resources.
  • Monitor and review team deliverables and participate in regular training meetings as needed.
  • Foster effective communication with Launch Team Instructors.
  • Develop and maintain project training materials, ensuring they are recorded in the DMS and training manual.
  • Maintain and improve training standards within the project.
  • Collaborate with other departments supporting the manufacturing process, such as maintenance and stockroom/customer service.

Requirements

  • A solid understanding of ECM processes at Vestas.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically SAP knowledge at a technical support level, including documents, tooling, and Vestas processes.
  • Proficiency in Excel, particularly database handling.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, including PowerPoint, Visio, and Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.

Location and Requirements
