About Scandlines

Scandlines, a leading provider of ferry services, is seeking an experienced Application Manager to join our core team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in the development and improvement of our full-automated harbor check-in solution, FreeFlow.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual with a background in managing complex automated systems. As an Application Manager, you will be responsible for leading the operations of our harbor check-in solution, ensuring its smooth functioning, and identifying areas for improvement. You will work closely with our core AM team to prioritize tasks, manage integrations, and resolve errors reported in our ticket system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the operations of our harbor check-in solution, ensuring its optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Report errors to our supply systems and follow up on fixes to minimize downtime.
  • Communicate with stakeholders about planned fixes, content, impact, and roadmaps to ensure transparency and alignment.
  • Educate colleagues in our harbors about the use of the FreeFlow solution, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration.
  • Introduce new check-in flows, supporting tools, apps, and services, staying ahead of the curve in terms of innovation and best practices.
  • Orient change management flows to ITIL principles, ensuring seamless transitions and minimizing disruptions.
  • Analyze market trends and conduct benchmarking to maintain the competitiveness of our solution, always striving for excellence.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as an Application Manager, Product Manager, or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in implementing new software solutions, with a focus on automation and integration.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into design specifications.
  • Able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
