About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and debugging software in Norlys' integration layer. Key responsibilities include optimizing current software, conducting code reviews, projecting estimations for new development initiatives, and proactively solving problems by identifying potential issues and collaborating with relevant teams to implement solutions.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, applicants must have a strong foundation in software development, evidenced by a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or computer science. The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in Java or a similar object-oriented language and SQL, experience in microservice development, virtualization, and container orchestration, familiarity with event sourcing and message queuing technologies, and awareness of software security and secure development practices.

Working Conditions

As a predominantly Danish-speaking company, Norlys requires employees to maintain security clearance throughout their employment. The successful candidate will be eligible for vetting by the Danish Defense Intelligence Service (FE) and may be required to spend 1-2 days per month in Copenhagen.

Compensation and Benefits

Norlys offers a competitive salary of approximately 145,000 DKK - 180,000 DKK per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, employees benefit from a comprehensive range of benefits, including training opportunities, health insurance, and a pension scheme.
