About the Project

DTU Electro is seeking a highly skilled PhD researcher to contribute to the development of a universal, scalable platform for quantum information technology. The primary objective of this project is to create a quantum photonic circuitry by integrating deterministic quantum light sources, active components, and detectors onto SiN devices.

This platform has the potential to revolutionize quantum photonics by enabling the creation, manipulation, and detection of on-demand single photons and entangled photon pairs. The aim is to demonstrate the flexibility of this platform in three key use cases: Quantum Key Distribution, Remote Quantum Computing, and Quantum Clock Synchronization experiments.

About the Job

As a PhD researcher, you will play a crucial role in developing numerical methods and experimental validations to address research topics such as mapping quantum circuits to a QD-based multi-node remote quantum processing architecture and characterizing quantum emitters in InP-based material systems.

The job requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent communication and technical writing skills in English.
