At CrowdStrike Holdings, Inc., we're looking for a highly skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team.

About the Role

The Cloud Security Architect will play a critical role in designing and building secure cloud-based systems, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security strategies that align with our company's vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures, including infrastructure as code (IaC) and serverless computing platforms.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle, ensuring secure coding practices and vulnerability management.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats and technologies, staying ahead of the curve in cloud security best practices.

Requirements:

  • 6-10+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, with a strong focus on designing and implementing secure cloud-based systems.
  • 4+ years of recent experience working with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization platforms like Docker.
  • Proven expertise in developing and maintaining comprehensive security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments.
  • Expertise in integrating security into the development lifecycle, including secure coding practices and vulnerability management.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Bonus Points:

  • Certifications in cloud security, such as CCSK or CCSP.
  • Experience with cloud security tools and technologies, such as AWS IAM or Azure AD.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
