About the Job
">As a Senior Design Quality Expert, you will play a key role in shaping the future design-for-quality methodology at Vestas. You will contribute to the vision of designing best-in-class products, working closely with the technical management team to drive technological advancements and product development.
">Within the Converter & Electrical Module, you will oversee the implementation of top methodologies in design-for-quality of module components throughout the development cycle. Your primary responsibility will be to guide project design teams in Design for Reliability (DfR), including suppliers.
">You will review and approve the work of the project design team, overseeing installed fleet quality improvements and regularly assessing historical fleet performance and manufacturing process capability. You will also be responsible for guiding and teaching Functional Leads in aspects such as Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and field failure data analysis.
">The ideal candidate will have +7 years of relevant experience in engineering and quality assurance practices for product design, knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering, and education in Electrical or Electronic Engineering providing an efficient, fact-based approach.
">You should possess proficiency in Design for Reliability, preferably with a 6 Sigma Black Belt, familiarity with Physics-of-Failure modeling, experience in Reliability testing and Design of Experiment, competence in Tolerance Chain Analysis, and proficient in Design & Process FMEA.
">We are looking for a collaborative and open-minded individual with good communication skills paired with a proactive and problem-solving approach to task completion. You should have aspiration to learn and teach, and be willing to contribute to the common success of the team.
